Neuropsychological Evaluation

Standardized neuropsychological evaluation is the assessment methodology of choice in cases of suspected brain injury. It can specify the absence or presence of cognitive deficits and provide the information needed for treatment and the evidence needed for litigation. The gold standard of neuropsychological evaluation is the Halstead Reitan test battery, which forms the basis of the battery we use at Centennial Rehabilitation, along with some other neuropsychological and psychological instrumentation. While providing neuropsychological evaluation as part of the multi-disciplinary evaluation in our Head Injury Rehabilitation program, we also offer that as a stand alone service as well.

Centennial’s neuropsychological evaluations are performed by Dr. William Boyd, Ph.D., one of only a handful of Neuropsychologists in Colorado who are Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. Dr. Boyd has evaluated and treated thousands of patients over his more than 20 years in practice. He is well acquainted with the requirements these patients, their families, providers, and payers of all sorts have for concise and practical communication of evaluation results, giving all involved parties the information they need for informed decisions about treatment, work or home adaptations or case resolution.
