Delayed Recovery Prevention

A Rehabilitation Program for Delayed Recovery Patients in the Workers’ Compensation System
Does this sound familiar to you? Workers’ Compensation claimants who:
- Remain in treatment and just can’t seem to recover despite appropriate medical care
- Are not back to work as long as six months after a non-complex injury
- Seem to “fall through the cracks” between readily identifiable diagnoses
- May be symptom magnifying
- Are fearful of returning to work
- Have secondary gain issues
- Maintain unrealistic expectations of recovery

They are stuck in the system, and as such present problems for employers and for insurance carriers. Aggressive, short term medical rehabilitative intervention can help return these patients to productive work and personal lives, and can help close these cases. Our Delayed Recovery Prevention program is designed to do just that.
