This is the question facing providers confronted with symptoms suggesting this complicated and confusing condition. The answer to that diagnostic question can have far ranging implications for treatment, recovery, or a possible worsening of condition.
CRPS cases present significant problems, not only for patients, but for the treaters responsible for their care. Centennial Rehabilitation’s clinic for cases of suspected CRPS is designed to assist treaters in both evaluation and treatment. The CRPS clinic has developed out of Centennial’s work with Chronic Pain in its Pain Medicine Center, and it is headed by Dr. Kathy McCranie, MD, Board Certified in Pain Medicine and an experienced provider in this specialty area.
